Jodi A. Miles

Attorney Jodi A. Miles graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1992 with a bachelor of arts degree in Writing Intensive English.

She attended law school at William Mitchell College of Law (n/k/a Mitchell-Hamline) in St. Paul, Minnesota. During law school, Ms. Miles represented clients needing criminal defense services through the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Miles worked under the supervision of a licensed attorney and appeared in court on behalf of clients as a student attorney. She gained excellent experience in client communication, zealous advocacy, and courtroom decorum, beginning at age 22. Ms. Miles worked in four more indigent defense settings in St. Paul, MN; Pensacola, FL; Jacksonville, FL; and Gainesville, FL.

After graduating law school in 1996, Ms. Miles joined a small firm in Jacksonville, FL. She soon struck out on her own and opened a practice doing family law, adoption, and criminal defense. Ms. Miles eventually employed associates, paralegals, law clerks, and clerical staff.

In 2006, Ms. Miles added attorney coaching to her repertoire.

Ms. Miles coaches individual attorneys and small firms on every issue involved in running an efficient, profitable practice. Ms. Miles is admitted to the Bar in Florida; is residing and working in Atlanta, Georgia; and loves helping clients nationwide.

Serving the Community

As a member of the Jacksonville (Florida) Bar Association, Jodi Miles organized and facilitated CLEs on the topics of juvenile delinquency, family law, and adoption. She also spoke to the local paralegal association and at Florida Coastal School of Law.

Now, as a member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association, Ms. Miles regularly conducts CLEs, speaks at Law Day activities at public & private schools, and started a new section of the bar, the Solo & Small Firm section.

Ms. Miles is an active member of her church, routinely donates goods and funds to local charities, and organizes meal trains for neighbors & families.
